A VISIT

From scales to sails and everything in between. Come view our valuable and well preserved collections focusing on St. Johnsbury's rich history!

WELCOME & HELLO.

We are excited to be able to share our town’s rich history with visitors. As case numbers of COVID-19 continue to fluctuate, please consider masking when you visit to help keep our volunteers and other visitors healthy.

Admission

Admission by donation, and always appreciated! Many visitors offer $5-10 a person as a donation. Admission is confidential and not necessary to visit the Center.

Hours

Our summer hours are Monday-Friday 10 am - 4 pm and the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month. Call us to check about Saturday visits before you drive to see us! The Center will also be open during special events so add those to your calendar!

Parking

Limited parking is available behind 421 Summer St, though there is ample and unmetered street parking available year round. Please try to carpool if you are visiting with more than 5 cars.

Directions

Located in the Northeast Kingdom, an area known for it's beauty and activities, the Center is only 1.8 miles from EXIT 21 off the I-91 South.

All of our exhibits, in both the house and the barn, are handicap-accessible. The grounds are also accessible in many areas.
