Festival of Traditional Crafts
Join us to learn about traditional crafts that were key to St. Johnsbury’s history! At 1:30 pm the Vermont Civil War Hemlocks will host a demonstration and donate a Civil War sword to the St. Johnsbury History & Heritage Center.
We will have a spring pole lathe demonstration, spinning, quilts, candle dipping, apple butter, apples, toys and games, blacksmithing, Hemlocks, pump log boring, model saw mill and dyeing using natural materials. Ice cutting display, early transportation and Fairbanks scales on exhibit!
